Project Title: Operation Girls Can! STEM in Media
Project Description:

The Merze Tate Explorers began in 2008 as an opportunity to expose girls in grades 3rd-12th to college and careers as travel writers. Students meet phenomanal women where they work as they travel within their communities and beyond the learn new things. Students share highlights if what they learn through the news articles and digital media they share on the organization’s websites, social media, and quarterly print/digital magazine that is provided free throughout the community.
