Project Title: HEALTHY LIVING, HEALTHY GIVING
Project Description:

Youth ages 9 – 18 will be involved and educated in cooking, gardening and fitness. Classes taught by experienced instructors will give youth an opportunity to experience the healthy way to grow and cook food. In addition they will be given a daily fitness program that is easy to maintain.

Statistics has proven that a healthy way of eating:
May help you live longer.
Keeps skin, teeth, and eyes healthy.
Supports muscles.
Boosts immunity.
Strengthens bones.
Lowers risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers.
Helps the digestive system function.

Exercise is vital to a healthy heart and mental health.

Youth will share what they have learned in these classes with members of their family, the community and their peers.
