Project Title: General Operating Expenditures
Project Description:

I am writing to seek a general operating grant from your foundation in support of United Church Camps, Inc. (UCCI). Our commitment lies in creating inclusive and transformative camp experiences that nurture spiritual, social, and personal growth for individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and faiths. We see a strong alignment between our vision and your foundation’s commitment to community enrichment, suggesting a partnership could amplify our impact.

At UCCI, we are dedicated to fostering an inviting and inclusive atmosphere where campers forge meaningful bonds and cultivate leadership skills amidst the rejuvenating embrace of nature. Our camps offer a unique setting for individuals to detach from everyday pressures and engage in activities fostering personal development, community formation, and a deep connection to the wonders of the natural world.

Through our programs, we aim to:
* Promote Personal Growth: UCCI’s programs provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore and enhance personal development guided by principles of love, justice, and inclusivity.
* Nurture Community: Believing in the power of community, our camps encourage campers to build strong, supportive relationships lasting a lifetime.
* Encourage Environmental Stewardship: UCCI instills a sense of responsibility for the environment by connecting campers with nature and teaching sustainable practices.
* Foster Leadership Development: Our programs empower campers to become community leaders through skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
* Advance Diversity and Inclusivity: We actively promote a diverse and inclusive community by embracing individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs. Our international staff enhances the camp experience, fostering diversity and inclusion.

Financial support from The Hermanowski Family Foundation would significantly contribute to providing life-changing experiences to a wider audience. It would aid in maintaining and improving camp facilities, expanding outreach efforts, and providing scholarships to ensure economic barriers do not limit access to our programs.

Total Project Budget: As this is for General Operating Expenses, there is no project budget.
