Project Title: Future Green Leaders
Project Description:

The Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition (GWRCCC) is a public- private partnership promoting the use of clean, American transportation fuels for homeland security and improved air quality. Our main priorities include combating climate change, environmental justice, electrification, low to zero carbon fuels, and public outreach, as well as community engagement. In 2023, GWRCCC created the Future Green Leaders (FGL) Program that focuses on teaching young people the importance of leadership, financial empowerment, environmental stewardship, and green jobs that promote a cleaner, healthier community and planet. Students in this program become well-informed about sustainability and environmental basics. FGL prepares our youth for leadership, jobs, and a better Tomorrow
