Project Title: UPLIFT (Using Positive Lessons to Improve our Future Tomorrows)
Project Description:

The UPLIFT Program is an integrated and afterschool program approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. The program use reading and math strategies scientifically proven to be effective; meeting the students’ needs and will enhance the youth’s reading and math overall aptitude skills. This approach will offer both individual and group projects for youth to participate in.

The UPLIFT Program will meet Monday through Thursday weekly during the hours of 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. and every other Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each youth participant will receive a minimum of 8 hours per week of instruction and enrichment classes. The program will operate through the school year until End of Grade and End of Course Testing begins.
