Project Title: Worth Beyond Measure
Project Description:

Worth Beyond Measure is a year-round mentoring program that will serve 50 middle and high school girls from low-income and under-served communities. The program will empower girls to develop leadership skills and will enhance their mental, social, spiritual and emotional health and well-being. The program will include trained female peer leaders and adult women from the target communities who will serve as accountability partners and role models. Activities will include a 9 week summer camp, college tours and information on scholarships, community service, and cultural and educational field trips. Topics will include self-efficacy, pursuing a higher education and skill training, leadership and effective communication skills, refusal skills and avoiding dating abuse.
