Project Title: Operation Girls Can! Summer Academy
Project Description:

The 2025 Operation Girls Can! Summer Academy is a long tradition for girls in our organization. The week-long summer academy inspires girls in grades 3rd-8th grade through hands-on career and college exploration and community service. Our Girls Can! 12th Annual Summer Academy (2025) allow girls an opportunity to visit new places and meet phenomenal women who provide hands-on experiences. In addition to college and career exploration, Explorers produce individual and team media assignments for our various digital platforms. These opportunities to reflect and celebrate their experiences are presented to their peers and community in various platforms. These journalists learn valuable soft skills while living on a college campus for one week and experience life-changing adventures that will benefit their in their education and futures.
