Digg Site is organizing a two-day film camp exclusively for young people, and the best part is, it’s completely free for them to participate. The camp aims to allow youth to collaborate with and learn from local film experts. They will learn about cinematography and camera equipment, including equipment setup, understanding its functioning, the theoretical aspects of capturing a great shot, fulfilling the script and director’s requirements during filming, and acquiring practical skills to capture action on film effectively.

The camp will also feature professional film producers who will emphasize the significance of production and guide participants on how all elements come together on a film set. Alongside this, local professional directors will mentor youth in understanding the leadership role in filmmaking. To complete their learning experience, participants can work with professional editors who will demonstrate how footage from a movie shoot is transformed into a proper format through the editing process. All these activities will take place within an actual film set environment that fosters supportiveness, education, and competence. The ultimate goal is for participants to create a short movie that they can submit to film festivals worldwide as a finished product. After one month of completing their movie project at camp, participants and their families are invited back for a celebration event where they can showcase their hard work and achievements.
