Services
• Housing Assistance: The organization collaborates with local agencies and organizations to provide safe and stable housing for young adults who are in the process of transitioning out of foster care, group homes, or treatment centers.
• Education Support: Educational resources and support services are offered to help these young adults achieve academic success. This support includes tutoring, mentoring programs, and assistance with college applications, ensuring they have access to educational opportunities.
• Financial Support: We provide financial support to help cover the cost of housing and other essential needs, reducing financial barriers that may impede their progress.
• Discount Services: Through partnerships with local businesses, the organization facilitates discounted services for obtaining furniture, clothing, food, and transportation. Additionally, free clothing is provided through God’s closet at the Banner Elk SDA Church, ensuring that basic needs are met for those in need.
• Career Development: Career development resources are available to help young adults explore various career options, acquire essential job skills, and enroll in apprenticeship programs that open doors to employment opportunities.
