Project Title: THE NAVAJO NATION’S CALL FOR HELP
Project Description:

The Building Youth Around the World (BYAW) foundation is seeking a grant to provide necessary services, clothes, books, humanitarian kits, and food to residents of the Navajo Nation Reservation near Four Corners, UT. We will provide aid and resources to the tribal natives in three underprivileged reservation areas: Montezuma Creek, Aneth, and White Mesa, with a goal of reaching 850+ individuals. The specific purposes for which the grant funds will be used include:

* Feeding needy families each month
* Donating Food to the Four Corner Pantry
* Donating Books/Reading materials for children
* Donating School Backpacks with Supplies
* Sport Equipment for the Montezuma Creek Elementary and White Horse High School football teams
* Donate winter supplies to all children

The lack of basic amenities, poverty, and inadequate clothing in these communities has led to widespread food insecurity, limited access to education and healthcare, and academic performance disparities.
