Project Description:

Love Thy Neighbor provides almost 200 nutritious snacks per week to King George elementary schools. According to NoKidHungry.org, “food insecurity affects concentration, memory, mood, and motor skills all of which a child needs to be successful in school”. We know that kids need to have full bellies to learn, and Love Thy Neighbor is on a mission to make sure all our area kids have the nutrition they need to succeed and thrive.

$1500 will fund our school snack program fully for one quarter.
