Project Description:

Read United aims to improve early language and childhood literacy for all children in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties. On Read United Day sponsors and donors make it possible for United Way to place books in the homes of students in Pre-K through second grade across our service area. Volunteers and community leaders read to classrooms and give books to over 19,000 children.
