Project Title: ARISE2Read Training Videos
Project Description:

ARISE2Read utilizes 700-1000 volunteers each year to enter Shelby County schools and support the foundational literacy skills of 2nd graders. Each of these volunteers must be trained to work with students using the ARISE2Read protocol. With only 2 full-time and 13 part-time staff members, our human resources are limited. We would like to create a training video to more efficiently and consistently train our volunteers.
In addition, we would like to create some training videos for our staff and lead volunteers on policies and procedures. We believe these tools will create volunteers and staff that are more confident and better equipped to serve others.
