Project Title: Caring Snack Bag Program
Project Description:

Embracing our organizational mantra of Food and Friendship, Caring for Friends prepares 1,500-2,000
snack bags per week, which costs the organization $78,000-$104,000 annually. Our Snack Bags are a
simple “to go bag” to help tide the child/youth over or at least give them some nutrition while waiting for the
“where and when” of their next meal. These products are given out to children and youth.

Our snack bags consist of:

Shelf Stable Milk or Juice
Protein tuna/chicken
Breakfast item-oatmeal, cereal bar, pop tarts
Snack item
Cracker or salty item
Piece of candy
Tea or hot chocolate

Each bag also consists of a caring and hopeful not from one of our volunteers.
