Project Title: Therapeutic Services for Low-Income Children with Developmental Delays and Disabilities
Project Description:

The Warren Center’s mission is to advocate, serve, and empower children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities. Each year, we serve over 3,000 children with developmental disabilities and delays across the DFW metroplex. To help every child reach their full potential, our services are tailored to each child’s unique needs. Parents are provided with the resources, guidance, and skills that they need to confidently face challenges and build strong families. Programs include:

-Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) – therapy for children from birth to three years old.
-Clinical Therapy Services – therapy for children ages three to eight years, including Autism Assessment Services.
-Family Education and Support – support and resources for parents of children with developmental disabilities and delays.

ECI is provided to families living in 48 zip codes, including Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Garland, Irving, Lake Highlands, Lakewood, North Dallas, Park Cities, Richardson, Rowlett, Sachse, and Wylie. Our Clinic Therapy Services and Family Education & Support Services are based in our three office locations in Richardson, Garland, and Carrollton and are open to the entire metroplex. We take a holistic approach designed to serve both the child and the family through a broad range of services, affordable assessments, and utilizing a highly qualified, multidisciplinary team in hopes that all children with developmental disabilities or delays can achieve their full potential.

In 2021, we observed the following client results:
-Increases in children’s rate of growth in key developmental areas.
-Decreases in need for special education and other remedial work.
-Greater language abilities.
-Improved nutrition and health.
-Decreases in child abuse and neglect.
-99% of our children showed significant progress in achieving new skills and exhibiting positive social/emotional behaviors.
-100% of parents and/or caregivers were educated, coached, and supported through the process.
