Project Title: Strengthening Our Foundation: NCA Reaccreditation Support
Project Description:

McKenzie’s Hope is seeking $5,000 to support the organization’s upcoming reaccreditation process through the National Children’s Alliance (NCA). As an NCA-accredited Children’s Advocacy Center, maintaining accreditation is essential to ensuring that children and families in Huntington County continue to receive high-quality, coordinated, trauma-informed services that meet nationally recognized standards.

Funding will help offset the costs associated with the reaccreditation process, including required materials, preparation, and other accreditation-related expenses. A portion of the funding will also support the engagement of an experienced consultant to provide guidance throughout the process. The consultant will assist staff and leadership in reviewing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, preparing required documentation, and ensuring that McKenzie’s Hope is fully prepared for the NCA site review.

This project will strengthen organizational capacity while helping McKenzie’s Hope maintain compliance with NCA standards and continue providing consistent, high-quality services to children and families. The reaccreditation process also provides an important opportunity to evaluate our current systems, strengthen policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement.

By investing in this project, the funder will help ensure that McKenzie’s Hope remains a strong, accountable, and nationally accredited resource for our community for years to come.
