Covered South Florida is a fully volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to ending hygiene poverty across Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Our mission is simple: ensure that every person in our community — regardless of age, income, or circumstance — has access to the essential hygiene products they need to live with dignity.

Through this project, Covered for Every Stage: Expanding Access to Diapers, Period Supplies, and Adult Briefs Across Palm Beach and Broward Counties, we are addressing one of the most overlooked yet urgent forms of poverty affecting South Florida families today. Hygiene poverty impacts people at every stage of life — infants who need diapers, students and women who need period supplies, and seniors who depend on adult briefs. Yet none of these essentials are covered by government assistance programs such as SNAP or WIC, leaving thousands of vulnerable community members without access.

Covered South Florida bridges that gap. We source and distribute free diapers, period supplies, and adult briefs through a growing network of partner organizations including schools, healthcare providers, senior centers, and social service agencies across both counties. Our volunteer-only operating model ensures that the maximum possible percentage of every dollar raised goes directly toward product procurement and community distribution.

Covered South Florida will increase our distribution capacity, deepen existing community partnerships, and expand our reach to more families, students, and seniors experiencing hygiene poverty throughout South Florida. We will continue to operate with full transparency, fiscal responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to serving those who need us most.
