Project Title: Workforce Training for Young Adults
Project Description:

Through the Helping Hands Workforce Training Program, students will be exposed to a variety of career pathways, ranging from entry-level opportunities requiring minimal skills to careers that require college education and advanced training. This program will introduce them to diverse industries and possibilities, including entrepreneurship, helping them discover their interests, build confidence, and begin developing the skills needed for their future.
By the program conclusion, students will create resumes, LinkedIn profiles, engage in mock interviews, and earn Career Certificates (AI Basics, Customer Service, etc.) with industry partners! Our target audience includes youth who live in poverty and are from underrepresented groups, helping them explore options beyond just the careers available in their hometown and own cultures.
