Project Title: Education to Employment Pathways
Project Description:
Hope Clubhouse is a recovery-based community that supports adults living with mental illness in SW Florida. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive environment where members rebuild their lives through access to employment, education, housing, wellness, and meaningful relationships. Members work side-by-side with staff in our Culinary, Horticulture, Employment, and Business Units, building confidence, structure, and a path toward independence. We believe in the potential of all individuals to lead a satisfying and meaningful life and becoming employed.
HOPE is Healing | Opportunity | Purpose | Empowerment
The Education to Employment Pathways Program will focus on:
• Establishing a comprehensive certification program – develop and implement educational pathways that allow members to earn industry-recognized certifications in fields such as Culinary, Horticulture, Business, and Multi-Media. Identify relevant certifications and training requirements within the first three months. Develop course curriculum and hands-on learning modules by month six. Launch the certification program and enroll members by month nine. Achieve at least 75% certification completion rate each calendar year.
• Enhancing workforce readiness and employability – equip members with practical skills, resume-building experience, interview preparation, and job placement support to improve employability. Conduct a workforce needs assessment in the first two months. Develop workshops and career support sessions by month.
• Tracking job placements and volunteer opportunities – aim for 15% of participants to secure employment or work-based learning opportunities within the first year. Establish a long-term, organized education system with a clear curriculum, teaching resources, and evaluation framework. Design a structured curriculum with learning objectives and materials within first four months. Ability to deliver programs effectively by month six. Implement assessment tools to measure skill acquisition and program impact by month nine. Evaluate and refine the program annually based on participant outcomes and feedback.
• Providing a daily program whereby members gain confidence, structure and trust to be active outside of the Clubhouse boundaries.
