Project Description:

The Colossal Career Launchpad is an experiential program designed to help high school students explore careers by learning directly from the world around them. At Colossal Academy, we believe adolescents learn best when education feels real and connected to their future. Through regular field experiences across South Florida, students visit workplaces, meet entrepreneurs and professionals, and explore industries such as technology, environmental science, the arts, and small business. These experiences help students see what is possible for their own lives while building relationships with mentors in their community.

After each experience, students translate what they’ve learned into real projects. They design entrepreneurial ideas, build digital portfolios, and create work that reflects their interests and strengths. The program focuses on developing future-ready skills like collaboration, communication, problem solving, and creative thinking. By connecting learning to real careers and real people, the Career Launchpad helps young people discover their gifts, imagine new possibilities for their future, and begin building a pathway toward meaningful work and contribution
