Project Title: Emergency Assistance
Project Description:

Interfaith of Natrona County provides emergency assistance to low-income individuals and families facing crisis situations. Our services are designed to meet immediate, basic needs that can significantly impact the stability and well-being of children and young adults in our community.

Through our Emergency Services Program, Interfaith assists households who are experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or other barriers that prevent them from accessing essential items. Many families seeking assistance are parents and caregivers working to provide stability for their children but lack the resources to obtain necessary documentation and basic personal items.

Interfaith helps families obtain critical identification documents such as birth certificates, which are often required for school enrollment, employment, healthcare access, and housing applications. Without these documents, children and young adults can face significant barriers to opportunity and long-term stability.

In addition to identification assistance, Interfaith provides hygiene items, clothing, diapers, and other basic necessities to ensure children and families can maintain dignity, health, and stability during times of hardship. These items help support children’s well-being, reduce stress on families, and allow young people to participate more fully in school and community life.

By addressing these urgent needs, Interfaith helps remove barriers that prevent children and young adults from accessing education, healthcare, and other opportunities necessary for success. Our goal is to ensure that families have the foundational support needed to stabilize their circumstances and create a stronger pathway for children and young adults to reach their full potential.

Through this project, Interfaith will continue providing essential emergency assistance that supports the health, dignity, and future opportunities of vulnerable families in Natrona County.
