Project Title: Breaking Barriers for Teen Parents & Families
Project Description:

Pretty Passionate Hands Inc. is requesting $10,000 to support direct services for teen mothers and fathers ages 12–24 in Indianapolis who are navigating parenthood with little to no support.
The families we serve face multiple barriers at once—housing instability, lack of childcare, limited access to food and hygiene items, and gaps in financial and life skills. Without intervention, these challenges often lead to long-term instability and missed opportunities for both parent and child.
Funding will support operations at our Family Wellness & Teen Parent Resource Center, where we provide centralized, wraparound services in a safe and supportive environment. Through this investment, we will deliver essential resources and programming that meet immediate needs while building long-term stability.
The $10,000 will:
Provide food, hygiene items, and baby essentials to over 50 families
Support parenting education and life-skills workshops
Expand financial literacy and workforce readiness programming
Help sustain daily operations to ensure consistent access to services
Our work is rooted in trust, mentorship, and lived experience. We create a space where young families are supported without judgment and equipped with the tools needed to move forward.
This investment will not only meet urgent needs—it will help break cycles and create pathways toward stability, self-sufficiency, and long-term success for teen parents and their children.
