Project Title: The People’s Market
Project Description:

An innovative food program that provides families with a dignified grocery store experience while they receive their basic needs. We have plans to open in Dallas–Fort Worth, a grocery-store setup, which carries a variety of culturally-diverse fresh, dried, and frozen foods, and allows clients to book a time to visit and choose items to their specific needs.

All The People’s Market clients must be enrolled in our mandatory budgeting workshop to ensure they are getting educated in financial literacy to help them become independent and self-sufficient members of society.

In Canada, this program is very successful, with around 150 families served each month in per location and 7,290 food items distributed. Around 50% of all individuals served are children and youth under the age of 18-years old.
