Project Title: Children’s Concert
Project Description:

Our annual Children’s concert includes students from 11 school districts within Mercer County plus students in the Conneaut Area Schools (Crawford, Co.) and Pymatuning Valley Schools (Trumbull Co., Ohio).

99% of our attending students are in grades 3 through 6 although older students from the Autistic and Gateways classes at GHS are invited to attend.

Our performance venue (William A. Passavant
Center, Thiel College) has a capacity of 1800+ seats which is usually filled to capacity by our students and
chaperones. For most students, this is their only experience with a live symphonic orchestra which often
sparks interest in playing a musical instrument at school.
