Kids Konnect Summer Program is a community-based youth initiative designed to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children during the summer months. Hosted by The Nehemiah Project, the program serves elementary and middle school students, many of whom come from underserved or at-risk backgrounds in Blair County.

The program operates during daytime hours and offers a structured blend of academic support, recreational activities, and character development. Students participate in hands-on learning experiences that help prevent summer learning loss, including reading, math enrichment, and creative expression through arts and crafts. In addition, the program emphasizes social-emotional growth by fostering positive peer relationships, teamwork, and confidence-building activities.

Kids Konnect also prioritizes physical activity and overall well-being through outdoor play, games, and organized group activities. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided, ensuring that children have consistent access to food while school is not in session.
