Project Title: The Agri -STEM outdoor Learning
Project Description:

Smith Family Ranch Foundation provides a safe and engaging environment where youth and families can connect with agriculture, nature, and hands-on learning experiences. In many underserved communities, young people have limited exposure to food systems, farming, and outdoor education, which restricts both life skills development and awareness of agricultural career pathways.

This project will expand our youth-focused agricultural education program in Stockbridge, Georgia. Through structured, hands-on activities, participants will learn animal care, gardening, food production, and basic agribusiness concepts. The program also promotes leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and healthy living.

Funding will support program materials, farm supplies, educational tools, and operational costs necessary to increase participation and improve program delivery. It will also help reduce barriers to access for underserved youth and families.

Over the project period, we aim to serve at least 100 youth and families, improving their understanding of sustainable agriculture and strengthening their connection to healthy food systems. This initiative supports long-term community development by equipping participants with practical skills and meaningful outdoor experiences.
