Project Title: Providing mobility and independence for elderly and disabled wheelchair users
Project Description:

Our organization has two objectives.
First, providing modular wheelchair ramps to individuals and families who have significant medical and financial challenges. Second, instilling values and skills in local high school students. The majority of our ramps are built by students from 12 area high schools clubs. These student volunteers gain an appreciation of the importance of service to others and the value of making a positive impact in the community, in addition to gaining team-building, fund-raising and mechanical skills. Clubs are required to raise part of the funding for any ramp they build.
