Project Title: religious developments
Project Description:

I am writing on behalf of Cong Binyan Hyusher , a non-profit organization dedicated to. Our organization has been serving the community for a Number of years now, and we have been successful in carrying out various projects that have impacted the lives of many individuals.

I am writing to request a grant to help our organization meet some of our urgent needs. Our organization is currently facing a financial challenge, and we urgently need funds to continue our operations and carry out our programs effectively. We have identified some critical needs that we believe require immediate attention.

The following are the key areas where we need financial support:

We need funds to purchase new equipment for our community centre to offer vocational training to underprivileged youth. This will enable them to gain valuable skills and improve their job prospects, thus breaking the cycle of poverty in our community.
We need funds to hire additional staff to provide counseling services to survivors of domestic violence. Our current staff is overwhelmed, and the demand for our services has increased, making it difficult to provide adequate support to those who need it most.
We need funds to expand our food pantry program to provide nutritious meals to more families who are struggling to make ends meet. With the rising costs of food and limited access to fresh produce, many families are facing food insecurity, and our program provides them with the support they need to maintain a healthy diet.
We believe that our organization has the capacity to carry out successful programs, and with your support, we can continue to make a positive impact in our community. We are confident that your support will enable us to provide the necessary resources to address our current challenges and to carry out our programs effectively.

Project Title: Twenty Years of Hope
Project Description:

Thank you for selecting Hopecam to receive a grant in 2021. We were honored to be selected by your foundation. Hopecam’s mission is to overcome the social isolation of children with cancer using laptops and webcams to connect the child with his or her friends and classmates. Every time a child is diagnosed with cancer and isolated from friends, his or her mental health is at risk. Hopecam can change that trajectory by virtually connecting kids with peers. 71% of our students attend Title 1 schools and over 50% live in homes that cannot afford internet access. Hopecam helps to bridge the digital divide not just the child, but for all family members during this difficult time.

As we kick off our 20th Anniversary celebration, the 2023 “Twenty Years of Hope” initiative will allow us to expand into new communities and serve more children with cancer at a time when they need connectivity more than ever. The total cost of this project is $58,000, with more than half already funded by committed partners. We invite you to once again join this effort to lift the spirits of children as they undergo treatment for cancer.

Project Title: Handicap Accommodations Program
Project Description:

The goal of the MPFC “Handicap Accommodations Program” is to provide grants to families with disabled children who cannot afford handicap accommodations on their own. The program was created in 2018, when our foundation first began operating. This program offers funds for wheelchairs, walkers, medical devices, transfer systems, and more. 100% of the children will make progress with their personal struggles through this program, which has a significant impact on each child for the rest of their lives.

Our foundation assesses an application based on various criteria. We ask if they have a doctor or therapist referral for the item requested, if it can be covered by health insurance, how long the item will be in use for, and how it will benefit the child. 90% of the families who apply do not have health insurance that covers the cost of these medical devices. As a child grows, it becomes very costly to frequently buy new handicap items. The cost of these devices can vary from $1,000-$8,000. This can quickly add up for a family who is already paying for doctor’s visits, therapy programs, and medication for a child who has disabilities. Low-income families cannot afford to upgrade their child’s handicap accommodations. Oftentimes we find that children are stuck with the incorrect device that does not properly accommodate them.

Examples of the accommodations we provide are adaptive strollers, wheelchairs, adaptive bicycles, shower chairs, shower lifts, walkers, vibrations boards, and bioness devices. These accommodations help create more independence and comfort for a child with disabilities. It also eases the burden on the parents who usually have to physically transport their child when they outgrow their handicap device. This allows the family and child to have more freedom in their own home and community.
