Project Title: Learning Together
Project Description:

Our Education Beyond program hopes to be a comprehensive educational support for students. We propose establishing a tutoring program designed to empower children through a diverse range of learning experiences. Our program will offer homework help, STEM activities, music, arts & crafts, computer classes, and coding sessions, catering to the holistic development of children from various backgrounds.
The primary objective of our program is to provide academic support while fostering a love for learning in children. Qualified tutors will assist participants with homework assignments, ensuring comprehension of critical concepts and promoting effective study habits. Moreover, engaging in STEM activities will spark curiosity and interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on experiments and interactive sessions, children will explore STEM concepts and their real-world applications, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
In addition to academic support, our program will nurture creativity and self-expression through music and arts & crafts sessions. Children can learn music theory, play musical instruments, and engage in artistic activities, promoting fine motor skills and self-confidence. Furthermore, basic computer literacy classes will familiarize children with essential computer skills, including typing, internet browsing, and using productivity software. Introduction to coding classes will also be offered to introduce children to computer programming fundamentals, fostering logical thinking and computational skills.
The implementation of our program will involve collaboration with local schools, community centers, and educational institutions to identify and reach children who would benefit from the program. We will recruit qualified tutors and instructors with expertise in various subjects and disciplines, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Regular assessments and evaluations will be conducted to measure the program’s effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
In conclusion, our comprehensive tutoring program aims to empower children with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the 21st century. By providing academic support, fostering creativity, and promoting technological literacy, we aspire to positively impact the lives of children in our community, equipping them with the tools to become lifelong learners and leaders.

Every time a child is diagnosed with cancer and isolated from friends, their mental health is at risk. Hopecam can change that trajectory by virtually connecting kids with their world. Hopecam helps kids feel more supported and less depressed through the power of connection. As we celebrate 20 years of service, we are excited about “Twenty Years of Hope,” a partnership with foundations, corporations and other groups that wish to give back to their communities.

With your support, Hopecam can expand our reach, serving more children with cancer at a time when they need connectivity more than ever. Project Title: The Mystery Of P.Y.F.
Project Description:

Our Mr. Cool Money characters perform skits, presentations and productions to young people in middle school and below. This project will feature Sammie Cents who is trying to figure out what "P.Y.F" stands for after he receives an allowance for the first time. Sammie Cents receives a card with these letters on it as a clue to the process of becoming rich. He begins his journey to unravel this mystery. Sammie and Mr. Cool Money are live mascots that engage with students to share their message of financial literacy. We will use these funds to create our set and train our high school participants to deliver the presentations. With this format we are able to engage and teach not only the elementary and middle school students but high schools as well based on the philosophy, "when one teaches, two learn". In short, by performing these skits and presentations, we will engage over 500 students teaching them the principle to "Pay Yourself First".
The project will start with school presentations to schools in low-income communities. Then presentations will be given to the community at local libraries and with participating partners. Finally, the characters will host a live production revealing the secret to conclude Financial Literacy Month in April. In all we plan to perform 10 skits, 5 presentations and 1 production with this project.
