Built Different provides a structured, adult-led space where youth can build confidence, practice leadership, and develop the skills necessary to make intentional, values-based decisions.

Each monthly gathering includes leadership discussions, guided reflection activities, and mentorship conversations focused on real-life issues such as fear, identity, and purpose. Youth also participate in interactive activities designed to strengthen decision-making and communication skills. The program is hosted in partnership with City Jump, which provides a safe and engaging environment where youth can connect through structured activities and community engagement.

The program addresses a critical gap in youth development by providing a consistent leadership environment that encourages young people to think critically, build confidence, and engage positively in their schools and communities.

Grant funding will help support youth participation access, leadership materials, program supplies, and mentorship programming. Through this initiative, youth will strengthen decision-making skills, build leadership identity, and increase engagement in their schools and communities.

Total Project Budget: 27.500 annually

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Individual donations, Corporate sponsorships from local businesses, Community partnerships, Youth program sponsorship contributions; In-kind partnership with City Jump (facility support)

Project Duration: January 2026 – December 2026
Geographical Area Served: St. Louis and surrounding communities
Age Group To Be Served: 14-18

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms. Staycee Dixson
Contact First Name: Staycee
Contact Last Name: Dixson
Contact Title: Founder
Contact Phone: (314)795-0186
Contact Email: staycee@riseofthechampions.com

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: RISE OF THE CHAMPIONS FOUNDATION Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: RISE OF THE CHAMPIONS FOUNDATION Mailing Address: 911 Washington Ave City: St. Louis State: Missouri Postal Code: 63121 Main Phone: 3147950186 Main Fax: Organization Website: riseofthechampions.com Employer ID Number: 39-3755810 Organization Tax Status: 501(c)3 Proposal […]

[3

post-9866","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
