Project Title: Joy & Confidence Kits: Portable Emotional Wellness Support for Vulnerable Children

The Delia Foundation respectfully submits this Letter of Inquiry to support the expansion of our Joy & Confidence Kits program serving vulnerable children with disabilities in rural Romania and low-income communities in Arizona.<\/p>\n
Children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and trauma histories often lack access to consistent therapeutic tools outside of structured environments. Our Joy & Confidence Kits are portable wellness packages designed to reinforce emotional regulation, sensory stability, hygiene dignity, and confidence-building skills at home.<\/p>\n
Each kit includes sensory tools, structured activity materials, hygiene items, emotional regulation aids, and age-appropriate educational supports. The kits are designed by our therapeutic staff to extend the benefits of speech therapy, occupational therapy, and social-emotional learning beyond our center walls.<\/p>\n
We propose distributing 150 kits over 12 months to children identified as high-need through our Romanian center and Arizona partner networks. Each kit will be customized based on age and developmental level.<\/p>\n
The program strengthens family stability, reinforces therapeutic progress, and promotes dignity for children who are often overlooked within public systems.<\/p>\n
We welcome the opportunity to submit a full proposal outlining budget, measurable outcomes, and implementation details.<\/p>\n
