Fresno Rescue Mission respectfully requests $10,000 in support of Rescue the Children: Providing Safe Housing and Stabilization for Homeless Children in Fresno County. Founded in 1949, Fresno Rescue Mission exists to rescue, restore, and empower individuals and families experiencing homelessness and crisis throughout Fresno County.
\nRescue the Children is a residential program serving women and their children who are experiencing homelessness and instability. The program provides safe housing, daily meals, and structured case management within a trauma-informed environment designed to promote family stability and long-term independence. Children benefit from a consistent, secure setting that supports healthy development while their mothers work toward employment readiness and long-term housing solutions.
\nGrant funds would directly support housing-related operational costs, food provision, essential program supplies, and structured support services for children and their mothers. By providing immediate relief from homelessness and creating a stable environment, the program helps interrupt cycles of poverty and instability that place children at risk of prolonged displacement.
\nRescue the Children operates within Fresno Rescue Mission\u2019s established continuum of care, ensuring coordinated access to additional services and community resources as families progress toward stability. The requested support will strengthen the program\u2019s capacity to provide safe shelter and restorative care to vulnerable children in Fresno County during the grant period.<\/p>\n
