Project Title: 2021 Children’s Literacy Program

The 2021 Children’s Financial Literacy Program encompasses all of the individual courses, workshops and sessions that Kidz Count will run throughout the year (as seen in the schedule below). Founded and run by black business professionals to lift up their communities and push racial equality, all initiatives are designed to provide primarily underserved children, and their families, with comprehensive and critical financial literacy education to help break the cycle of poverty and lift up marginalized communities.<\/p>\n
Kidz Count’s flagship programs Project LOL and BizKid Academy are typically four or six-week after-school sessions for middle and high school students. Participants meet twice per week and are provided with a safe and interactive program that keeps them off the streets while helping them learn how to create generational wealth and cultivate their leadership skills. Money Masters Kids Club (MMKC) is for elementary students, and introduces students ages six to 10 about the basics of money. The six-week curriculum provides a solid foundation in financial literacy. Kidz Count also runs one-day workshops – Financially Fit and Winter Moneyland, which are open to all in the community, free of charge.<\/p>\n
