Project Title: Federal Readiness and Continuity Bridge for Arts-Integrated Learning and Student Well-Being

Young Audiences Arts for Learning is a national organization supporting arts-integrated learning and student well-being in schools across 30 states, including through local partner organizations in Florida and Virginia.
\nIn the past four years, the U.S. Department of Education has entrusted Young Audiences with more than $19 million in multi-year grants to expand arts-integrated instruction and student well-being supports in high-need schools. These federal investments are catalytic, but they also require consistent implementation and documentation. When flexible private support lags, schools can face delays in materials, training follow-through, and required reporting \u2014 risking underuse of federal dollars and scaling back supports that students need now.
\nThis $10,000 grant will fund a one-year Federal Readiness and Continuity Bridge to help keep arts-integrated learning and well-being supports on track for elementary-age students served through our Florida and Virginia work. Funds will be used for:
\n1.\tClassroom readiness: arts supplies and printed materials that allow teachers to deliver a complete sequence of standards-aligned arts-integrated lessons without interruption.
\n2.\tImplementation continuity: support for teacher collaboration time (stipends or substitute coverage) to sustain high-quality practice and follow-through.
\n3.\tEvidence and reporting: light-touch data collection and analysis (participation logs and brief educator surveys) culminating in a concise outcomes and spending report.
\nThis grant functions as a small but catalytic bridge \u2014 helping ensure federal dollars continue flowing into classrooms and that students in high-need communities benefit from instruction that strengthens learning, engagement, and well-being.<\/p>\n
