Our organization seeks funding to construct a safe, dedicated outdoor arena for our Assisted Equine Learning program, which serves children and youth who have experienced trauma, foster care placement, and significant life instability.<\/p>\n
The arena will provide a consistent, structured space where participants engage in horsemanship, movement, and relationship building activities that promote emotional regulation, confidence, responsibility, and resilience. Through guided interactions with horses, youth develop life skills such as communication, problem-solving, empathy, and self-discipline, all skills that directly support success in school, relationships, and future employment.<\/p>\n
This project supports the whole child by integrating physical activity, experiential education, and social-emotional growth in a nurturing, faith-affirming environment. The arena will allow us to expand access to programming, serve more participants year-round, and reduce barriers for families who could not otherwise afford these services.<\/p>\n
