Onward Christian Academy is a hybrid K\u201312 Christian school serving families across Central Virginia who desire an education that integrates academic excellence, faith formation, and practical life skills. Our mission is to partner with families to raise students who are rooted in Christ, equipped for life, and prepared to serve their communities with integrity and purpose.<\/p>\n
The Rooted Access Scholarship Fund exists to ensure that financial hardship does not interrupt a child\u2019s ability to remain in a stable, Christ-centered learning environment. Families seeking Christian education often do so with great intentionality, yet many experience seasons of financial strain due to job transitions, medical expenses, or unexpected life changes. Without support, these challenges can force difficult educational disruptions that impact both academic progress and spiritual formation.<\/p>\n
This project will provide targeted, need-based scholarships to students whose families require temporary assistance in order to remain enrolled at Onward Christian Academy. Funds will be used to offset tuition costs for qualifying families, allowing students to continue their education without interruption while maintaining consistency in discipleship, relationships, and learning routines.<\/p>\n
Onward Christian Academy has committed $2,500 from internal resources toward this effort and is seeking an additional $7,500 to expand the reach of the fund. Together, these funds will support multiple students during the upcoming academic year through partial scholarships tailored to each family\u2019s situation.<\/p>\n
By investing in the Rooted Access Scholarship Fund, the foundation would be directly supporting children and families at a pivotal moment, helping preserve educational stability and fostering long-term growth in character, faith, and confidence. This project reflects our belief that Christian education is not only about academics, but about walking alongside families and students through real life with care, commitment, and hope.<\/p>\n
