Autism Solutions Academy\u2019s main initiative, the Community Engagement Program, brings professionals and community members into our school each month to share skills, stories, and experiences that help students grow. These visits may spark creativity through art, inspire curiosity in science, or offer chances to connect with animals, nature, and possible careers.
\nFor many autistic children, time is spent almost entirely in therapy, leaving little room for the everyday experiences their peers enjoy. The Community Engagement Program changes that by opening doors to activities like painting, exploring museums, practicing yoga, and more. These opportunities nurture inclusion, discovery, and joy while allowing the community to witness the unique gifts of our students. They ground children in the living world, build empathy and resilience, and create long-term benefits not just for our students, but for the community as a whole.<\/p>\n

Other Funding
\nSources For The Project (Committed & Potential): We have secured committed funding of $5,000 from the Crocker Catalyst Foundation, $3,500 from the Swanson Foundation, and $7,000 from the Autism Solutions Gala. In addition, we have submitted funding requests for $6,000 to the George S. and Dolores Dor\u00e9 Eccles Foundation and $5,000 to the Autism Council of Utah, and will continue to request grant funding from other foundations.<\/p>\n
