In partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, we deliver four evidence-based programs serving children from birth through age 18 who face geographic isolation, economic barriers, and lack of access to quality music education.
\nThe Lullaby Project pairs expectant and new parents from low-income families with professional musicians to compose personal lullabies, supporting maternal mental health, early childhood development, and parent-child bonding. Teaching artists guide families through songwriting and composition, creating demo recordings families keep forever. Our celebration concert on June 13, 2026, brings families together to share their lullabies.
\nWell-Being Concerts serve teenagers navigating trauma, particularly youth affected by the recent school shooting in our community. In partnership with Resilience 12-20, these immersive concerts combine live music with mindfulness practices, teaching youth to use music for emotional regulation when professional therapy is financially out of reach.
\nFamily Concerts provide hands-on music education for children ages 3-12 through interactive "musical petting zoo" experiences where children touch and play professional instruments, followed by musical storytelling celebrating diverse cultural traditions. We partner with schools in economically disadvantaged areas to reach children who have never attended a live concert.
\nCrossover Currents teaches diverse musical styles by pairing classical chamber works with jazz, world music, and contemporary genres, demonstrating how different traditions connect and that classical training applies across musical forms.
\n All programs emphasize creative expression, hands-on participation, and diverse musical traditions, bringing professional music education to children who might otherwise never receive it.<\/p>\n
Total Project Budget: $118,900<\/p>\n
Other Funding
\nSources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Committed: Individual Donor-Advised Fund: $10,000 Potential: GCF: "For the Good of Golden" Grant Program Union Pacific Foundation NAMM Foundation General Operating Grants BMO Financial Group BMO Gives Kars4Kids Small Grant Program Charles and Joan Hermanowski Family Foundation Grant Gates Family Foundation Anschutz Family Foundation Arts In Society Grant Erich & Hannah Sachs Foundation Sony: Corporate Giving The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Equity in Arts Learning for Colorado Youth Grant Colorado Creates Grant Boettcher Foundation Community Connections Grant The Alice M.
