As we increase the quality of our program offerings, we also acknowledge that there is an increased need from the audience that we serve. The increased demand for programming reflects the success and expansion of our educational and community-based initiatives. We continue to grow our partnerships with local youth-serving nonprofits, who partner with us for camps, family days, and exhibitions. We work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, University of Louisville, and YMCA to ensure that children and students have equitable access to our programs, camps, and field trips, and nonprofits like Louisville Grows, the Food Literacy Project, Adelante Hispanic Achievers, and Play Cousins Initiative for family days and holiday programs. The Educational Access Fund ensures free access for Title 1 schools and expands outreach to youth-serving organizations, such as YMCA Safe Place and Americana World Community Center, deepening the museum’s mission to make history accessible to everyone. This year more JCPS schools qualify for Title 1 funding than ever before, and our goal is to make sure that we can meet this growing need and deliver thought-provoking programing to our community. In 2024, nearly 3,000 JCPS students were able to visit the Frazier at no cost thanks to our title 1 funding and the Educational Access program.

Total Project Budget: 65,000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): LG&E, Gheens Foundation

Project Duration: 1 year
Geographical Area Served: Jefferson County, Kentucky
Age Group To Be Served: 5-18

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms
Contact First Name: Leslie
Contact Last Name: Anderson
Contact Title: Sr Manager of Grants & Community Development
Contact Phone: 502-657-9249
Contact Email: landerson@fraziermuseum.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Frazier History Museum Legal Name (if Different): Owsley Brown Frazier Historical Arms Museum Foundation, INC Also Known As: Mailing Address: 829 West Main Street City: Louisville State: KY Postal Code: 40202 Main Phone: 502-753-5663 Main Fax: Organization Website: fraziermuseum.org Employer ID Number: 61-1378343 Organization Tax Status: 501(c)(3) […]

[3

post-8523","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
