At Girls on the Run, we inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. We host 2 10-week programs at every elementary and middle school in our area, capped off with a non-competitive 5K as the tangible result of our girls’ hard work all season. We never want to turn away a participant due to financial hardship, so we provide financial assistance, up to and including full scholarships. The sponsorship money we raise goes to help provide scholarships to our girls in underserved communities.<\/p>\n
