Our Drills and Skills Program uses Flag football to positively impact mental health by providing a fun, social, and physically active environment that can help reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. The structured nature of the game, the social interaction with teammates, and the physical exertion all contribute to a sense of well-being. Our program provides opportunities to develop mental resilience, such as coping with setbacks, remaining calm under pressure, and focusing during challenging situations. social interaction and teamwork, creating a supportive community where individuals can connect with others, build relationships, and reduce feelings of isolation. Our program serves 48-52 youth, 94.5% being BIPOC male youth, and 5.5% are female.<\/p>\n
