Project Title: Girls on the Run \u2013 Paterson Empowerment & Fitness Initiative
\nProject Description:<\/p>\n
Girls on the Run is a nationally recognized program that combines physical activity with social-emotional learning. We are seeking funding to expand our program at Paterson School 20, a Title 1 school, to provide underserved girls with structured, confidence-building fitness sessions and life skills education.
\nThis program serves girls in grades 3\u20138 from Paterson\u2019s Eastside neighborhood\u2014primarily low-income, Black and Latino families. Many girls lack access to safe, inclusive fitness spaces and female role models. GOTR addresses health disparities, self-esteem issues, and limited physical activity by providing a supportive, coach-led environment with proven outcomes. <\/p>\n
