The Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the very best physical, psychological and spiritual care for school-aged children who have been neglected, abused or are in need of supervision. We care for these children without regard for their race, religion, culture, and national origin, financial or social status.
Our ongoing goal and commitment to these children is to provide a long-term foster home for as long as it is needed. We meet the physical needs of these children/adolescents, provide them with counseling and tutoring, and offer them a loving family setting in which they can thrive physically, emotionally, educationally, and socially. A long-term goal is for reunification with family where that is possible. Often adolescents are offered a home as they pursue higher educational plans as well. Ultimately, the goal is that as these children move into adulthood, they will become well-educated, productive members of their community. We provide a healthy, nurturing environment in a cottage with loving, committed foster parents and other children. These kids are at-risk in many areas, coming from situations of neglect, abuse, abandonment, or families in crisis. Most of these children arrive at ACCH without proper clothing, poor nutrition, and are seriously behind in school. These children are enrolled in the public school system and are given tutoring as needed. Many also benefit from counseling. We provide opportunities to engage in sports programs. The kids can also participate in a variety of entertainments such as going swimming, attending baseball games, going to the local amusement park, etc.

Total Project Budget: 808,100

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): 849000

Project Duration: ongong
Geographical Area Served: New Mexico
Age Group To Be Served: 5-18

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Mrs.
Contact First Name: Cyndi
Contact Last Name: Moore
Contact Title: ACCH Volunteer
Contact Phone: 5058985520
Contact Email: cmoore@acch4kids.org

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: Mailing Address: 5700 Winter Haven RD NW City: Albuquerque State: NM Postal Code: 87120 Main Phone: 5058985520 Main Fax: Organization Website: https://www.acch4kids.org Employer ID Number: 23-7122398 Organization Tax Status: 501(c)3 Proposal Information Today’s Date: 6/19/25 Requested […]

[3

post-8451","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-grants
["GET
