Our mission is to nurture self-worth, leadership, and resilience through comprehensive programming that addresses key areas often overlooked in traditional education.

Participants engage in workshops and mentoring sessions focused on etiquette, helping them carry themselves with confidence and grace in personal, academic, and professional settings. Career exploration activities introduce girls to a variety of professions and provide tools for goal-setting, resume building, and effective communication.

Sex education is approached responsibly and age-appropriately, emphasizing self-respect, consent, and informed decision-making. Financial literacy modules teach budgeting, saving, and planning for future financial independence. In addition, we offer guidance on understanding healthy relationships, recognizing warning signs of abuse, and navigating emotional challenges.

Conflict resolution is a cornerstone of the program, empowering girls with strategies to resolve disagreements constructively and assert themselves respectfully. Each element is designed to promote self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and community-minded leadership.

Through a supportive, nurturing environment, Girls Who Rise helps young ladies grow into confident, capable women who are ready to rise above challenges and build successful futures.

Total Project Budget: $5,000

Other Funding
Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Walmart, Private Donors, and Businessess

Project Duration: annually
Geographical Area Served: We focus on reaching underserved and at-risk youth in both urban and rural areas
Age Group To Be Served: 8 -18

Contact Information

Contact Prefix (Mr,Mrs etc.): Ms.
Contact First Name: Debora
Contact Last Name: Hudson
Contact Title: CEO
Contact Phone: 9105832053
Contact Email: ceo.slfss@gmail.com

Hermanowski Family Foundation Initial Request Form Organization Name: Spring Lake Family Support Services Legal Name (if Different): Also Known As: The Kinsey House Mailing Address: 126 N.
