Community Care Resources (CCR) identifies a target population of disenfranchised men, women, and youth in need of medical assistance through healthcare testing and educational resources. CCR normalizes the educational process with a custom-designed ice cream truck that distributes ice cream, hot dogs, and conversation to normalize their medical issues and develop an open opportunity of acceptance and a willingness to seek medical attention. The CCR campaign is an innovative project that attracts the target population and increases the number of participants in highly infectious areas where testing is imperative to maintain and track HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI). CCR serves approximately 100 adults and youth per month in Seminole County; 150 in Polk County and 200 in Broward County. The target population receives services for health and wellness testing, urgent substance use, mental health, and HIV\/STI treatment and education. In Florida, in 2024 Broward County is identified with the second highest HIV infection rates per county, according to Florida Health Records. In 2024, Broward County identified 21,975 individuals living with HIV, including 1,282 per 100,000 population, according to health statistics. In 2024, 22,982 bacterial Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) were identified in Broward County at 1,156 per 100,000 population. The mission of CCR is dedicated to our community and provides the highest quality care to our patients by providing excellent medical services, therapy, and outreach to individuals affected by sexually transmitted diseases (STD), HIV, Hepatitis C, and\/or Substance Abuse. CCR strives to deliver healthcare with compassion and affordability to all. Our holistic approach encompasses General Medical Practice, STI & HIV Intervention, Pharmacy Services, Public Engagement & Outreach Initiatives, Substance Use Programs, Additional Support Services, and a Comprehensive High-Impact HIV Prevention Program. <\/p>\n
