On behalf of Love Your Texture, I am pleased to submit this grant request for $10,000 to support our upcoming 2025\u20132026 initiative, Love Your Texture: Youth Empowerment Through Hair and Self-Esteem Education. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, our mission is to empower foster, adoptive, and transitioned youth ages 2\u201321 to embrace their natural beauty through culturally affirming education, community-based workshops, and access to essential self-care resources.
\nWith this funding, we aim to distribute 1,000 natural hair care kits, host educational workshops for 100 youth in underserved communities, and provide 10 full makeovers to help participants build confidence and self-love. These activities are designed not only to address practical grooming needs, but also to uplift self-esteem and promote self-love.\n<\/p>\n
