Play360 is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers community leaders in under-resourced regions to create educational, inclusive, and joyful play spaces for children. Through our flagship PlayMaker Program, we provide free virtual training, mentorship, and seed funding to local changemakers\u2014known as PlayMakers\u2014who design, build, and sustain playgrounds using low-cost, locally sourced materials. These vibrant, community-led play spaces serve not only as sites for recreation but also as hubs for learning, connection, and child development.
\nSince our founding, Play360 has supported the construction of over 200 playgrounds in 26 countries, reaching more than 50,000 children with access to safe, engaging environments for play and growth. Our work addresses a critical global challenge: millions of children around the world lack access to safe play areas and early educational resources, which are essential for healthy physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
\nWhat sets Play360 apart is our commitment to sustainability and local ownership. Every playground is conceived and built by the community it serves, fostering pride, leadership, and long-term stewardship. PlayMakers receive training in project management, construction techniques, and play-based learning strategies, along with access to a global network of peers and open-source educational tools aligned with early literacy and numeracy benchmarks.
\nWith a focus on global impact and community empowerment, Play360 is currently expanding its reach in Nigeria, Tanzania, Mexico, and India. Funding partnerships enable us to train more PlayMakers, support more playground builds, and translate our curriculum for broader accessibility.
