The Aspects of Leadership Summer Institute is an intensive five-week, fully funded program designed to equip LEDA Scholars with the skills needed to excel as students and leaders. The program offers leadership training, academic writing instruction, standardized test preparation, college guidance, and community building\u2014all aimed at fostering intellectual growth and personal development.<\/p>\n
A key component of the program is the Aspects of Leadership curriculum, which focuses on ethical and effective leadership by tackling pressing global policy challenges of the 21st century. Scholars engage in interactive learning experiences such as role-play simulations, debates, mock trials, and critical thinking games. The curriculum also incorporates computer-based learning tools, dynamic group discussions, and tailored teaching methods to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities and adaptability.<\/p>\n
By integrating academic rigor with experiential learning, the Summer Institute empowers students with critical thinking skills, confidence, and a strong peer network\u2014laying the foundation for success in college and beyond.\n<\/p>\n
