Over the past year, the team at Align9 has worked diligently to create an innovative outdoor health and wellness program called Find Your Adventure. Designed to foster healing, connection, and resilience among individuals experiencing crisis in our community, this initiative reflects our mission to build stronger communities through collaboration. The program offers a welcoming and judgment-free space where participants, many of whom are in recovery, can reconnect with nature, others, and themselves.
\nHeld once a month in public parks and outdoor spaces across Loudon and Morgan counties, Find Your Adventure offers guided trail walks, hikes, bike rides, and other nature-based activities. Each event is led by our dedicated Program Director, ensuring that participants feel safe, supported, and encouraged to engage at their own pace.
\nWhile the program was born out of a commitment to support the local recovery community, it is open to individuals of all ages who are seeking wellness, community, and a sense of belonging. There is no registration required and no cost to participate, Align9 covers all expenses to remove barriers and make healing through nature accessible to everyone.
\nTo continue offering this vital resource, Align9 seeks $10,000 in grant funding. These funds will be used to support the marketing and logistical needs of the program, including promotional materials, social media outreach, event coordination, and supplies for each monthly outing. By investing in visibility and sustainability, we aim to increase community participation and ensure each event is impactful and inclusive.
\nThe requested funding will allow us to enhance our outreach efforts and strengthen the infrastructure needed to consistently deliver high-quality experiences.
