Liquid Theatre Collective, a nonprofit organization, has been invited to showcase its new musical, Marian, at the University of Michigan’s New Works Festival in January 2026. This production tells the story of the legendary opera singer Marian Anderson. To bring our full creative team to this remarkable event, we are seeking an additional $30,000 to cover housing, transportation, and living expenses.<\/p>\n
The production will be entirely performed by University of Michigan students, offering them an incredible opportunity to collaborate with our professional director and choreographer. This partnership will provide invaluable learning experiences and mentorship, enriching the students’ education and enhancing the overall production quality.\n<\/p>\n
